The original version was about an empty sexual encounter and it went viral on Spotify in early new version features ASAP Rocky, The intention had always been to get a rapper onto the track and the Harlem rhymer bought a different flavour to it with some bars about being hopelessly in love. Mura Masa explained: "Rocky was actually in London for a couple of days and I wanted to make him feel like I was taking the collaboration seriously, so I booked us in to Abbey Road, Studio 2, and we met up there for a couple of hours and he did his track originally was about sex and how I was feeling after a particularly empty encounter with a friend told through a kind of twisted-pop, calypso, hip hop dance track. Rocky kind of ran with that and took it to this lovelorn, exotic place. He totally injected his energy into it."Mura Masa told DIY magazine about the recording of the track. "The first thing he [ASAP Rocky] said was that it made him feel really tropical, like he was in Ibiza or something and I was like, 'OK let's roll with that'. But then I said to him that it was about being stupid and feeling lovesick and hanging over a girl and he brought that to it as well.
